Methodology

How the SoCalSolver calculators are built. We describe only what the product actually does.

Sources

We prioritise official and primary sources. When available, we cite them on the calculator page.

From rules to formulas

We turn rules and data into formulas. When available, we show the assumptions and limits of the calculation.

Automated tests

We use automated tests on the calculations. Tests are not a substitute for professional review or a certification.

Versions and changelog

We show the version, update date and changelog only when the system records them for that calculator.

Corrections

Reports are reviewed. Confirmed corrections are documented in the tool's changelog where the system supports it.

Development tools

AI tools may be used in development and writing. Final responsibility for publishing and maintenance rests with Ugo Candido.
